SOCIAL PROJECTS
WE RE-INVEST 20% OF OUR PROFITS IN SOCIAL PROJECTS
Due to poverty, educational discrimination, insufficient access to health care, among other adverse circumstances, many people face hardships reaching their full potential. This makes it difficult to maintain hope, courage and confidence.
Therefore, we re-invest 20% of our profits in high-quality social projects that help people in need unleash their strengths and potential.
MONICA MEMORIAL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE
Since the beginning of 2016, we have been supporting the Monica Memorial Development Centre (MMDC) in Naivasha, Kenya. Founded in 2003, the main purpose of this non-profit organization is to provide food, guidance, care, and education to – currently 65 – children in need from slums in Naivasha, Kenya who otherwise would not be able to attend school due to adverse social circumstances. After the third grade MMDC students are placed in public schools of Naivasha.
In 2016 MMDC was forced to relocate, at this point of hardships, marevest supported the purchase of a new plot and the construction of a new facility.
With the new facility, MMDC is now better situated. However, the project still requires continuous financial support as well as donations in kind such as clothing, medication, and stationary. We at marevest are committed to further supporting the project, yet we very much welcome other sponsors wishing to donate to MMDC.
All transaction costs, including bank fees and transport cost for donations in kind, are covered by marevest, thereby assuring that your donations arrive in full at MMDC.
In support of MMDC, we partner with Grundschule Schönningstedt and bikup gGmbH..
